Our History
Founded in 2019, The Eris Company is a brand dedicated to the demolition of societal constructs and the uplifting of marginalized voices. Here at Eris, we understand just how hard it is to express oneself in the midst of oppression. We've been radical since the day we were founded.What began as two teenagers sitting in their childhood bedroom , scribbling ideas into a semi-used notebook suddenly became a bigger, wilder dream. *The Eris Company is a multi-faceted brand that produces podcasts, literature, art, and more while also participating in social justice work. We are a safe space for those who may feel ostracized by their communities. The two people who founded this brand understand that being different is a gift.Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder Teriza West is a creative soul. Holding the titles of writer, poet, and digital creator, Teriza carries a world of experience in a twenty-three year old package. She has spear-headed several initiatives, including Eris Studios, which has brought a podcast and an upcoming short-film. Alongside her co-founder and best friend, Chloe Phillips, she has begun laying the foundation for a brand that advocates for self expression.

Teriza "Nellmaria" West is a twenty-three year old writer, creator, and entrepreneur. She founded Eris with her best friend, Chloe, in 2019 and has been working to establish a name for the brand ever since.Teriza is an author who has one published work, a collection of poems titled Black People Like Art Too and is currently working a sci-fi/fantasy series and a fiction novel.Teriza founded the digital magazine DYSNOMIA in 2021. She runs several blogs, including Notes on Being a Black Girl where she discusses the pros and cons of being a Black, queer person living in the United States. Teriza is a Creative Writing and Philosophy major attending university online.Teriza's pronouns are she/her/they/them. Chloe Phillips is a twenty-one year old CFO and creative who founded The Eris Company with her best friend in 2018.Chloe is currently studying Computer Science. She is an amazing digital artist and content curator. She is the glue that holds Eris together.Chloe's pronouns are she/they.
